Our History

Founded with the goal of addressing the growing training needs in the European educational landscape, EBB began its journey by supporting teachers and schools in managing Erasmus+ projects. Over the years, we have expanded our training offerings, collaborating with prominent partners such as Europass Teacher Academy and Future Education Modena, to create high-quality courses focused on professional development and cultural exchange.

Francesco Molinari

Director
Francesco is the director of European Education Hub Berlin, where he also brings his expertise as an EU project writer and trainer to life. With a strong background in innovative teaching strategies, cultural heritage education, and German vocational training (Dual System), Francesco is deeply immersed in advancing education. Holding a university degree in Classical Philology and Romance Languages and Literatures, Francesco has extensive experience developing and leading Erasmus+ international mobility projects, strategic partnerships, policy reform initiatives, and professional learning experiences across Germany. Passionate about empowering educators, Francesco is committed to fostering dynamic teaching approaches and strengthening the role of teachers as innovators in education.

Ada Rigacci

Trainer and manager of European projects
Ada is a trainer and instructional designer at European Education Hub Berlin, specializing in managing Erasmus+ projects focusing on student mobility. Her expertise encompasses new teaching methodologies, classroom and conflict management, as well as active and cooperative learning. Ada holds a university degree in Classical Philology and is passionate about sharing innovative teaching ideas. Driven by a love for connecting with people, Ada is dedicated to helping educators make a meaningful impact in their classrooms.

Sabrina Muratore

Executive director and manager of European projects
Sabrina is the Executive Director and EU Project Manager at European Education Hub Berlin. She oversees the coordination of educational projects and handles all administrative tasks related to the Center’s operations and strategic development. With a university degree in Foreign Languages and International Communication, Sabrina has experience managing international projects, developing training materials, and training teachers. Driven by a passion for influencing learning processes, Sabrina focuses on implementing, testing, and managing innovative educational programs that make a tangible impact.

Melissa Galia

Head trainer and center manager
Melissa is the Head Trainer and Center Manager at European Education Hub Berlin, where she combines her expertise in training and instructional design with overseeing the Center’s team and daily operations. Specialized in diversity and inclusion, wellbeing, soft skills development, executive leadership, entrepreneurship, innovative teaching methodologies, educational technologies (including AI for education), and sustainable development education, Melissa holds a university degree in Business and Social Sciences, a Master’s in Management of Social Innovation, Human Rights, and Sustainability, and a Master’s in Educational Psychology for Inclusion. Additionally, she is a certified PCC Coach. With experience leading and facilitating global programs within the United Nations and other international organizations, Melissa is passionate about creating an inclusive and empowering educational environment. She thrives on fostering growth through collective support and encouraging learners to challenge their boundaries.

Barbara Distefano

Trainer and manager of European projects
Barbara is a trainer and instructional designer at European Education Hub Berlin and an EU project designer and manager. Her expertise lies in project writing, digital humanities, cultural heritage education, school archives, educational technologies, intercultural and plurilingual education, and innovative teaching methodologies. Barbara’s academic achievements include a university degree in modern languages, a Master’s in Philology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and a PhD in Literature and Education. She is also a certified expert in the Didactics of the Italian language to foreigners and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. Barbara’s career spans roles as a university lecturer, online language teacher and e-learning designer, online journalist and content writer, humanities school teacher, Italian language teacher, and PLIDA examiner. She is driven by a mission to empower teachers and elevate their status as creative professionals in society.

Michela Graciotti

Trainer
Michela is a trainer and instructional designer at European Education Hub Berlin, focusing on innovative teaching methodologies and educational technologies. She has a special interest in AI in Education, STEAM, Arduino, and soft skills development. With a university degree in Classical Philology and Romance Languages and Literatures, Michela has a unique background as both a marketing communication manager in Information Technology companies and a secondary school Humanities teacher. Passionate about empowering teachers, Michela strives to help educators inspire students and cultivate a collaborative, European culture.
